Environmental Policy
Health, Safety & Environmental management is
of paramount importance and the acceptance of
responsibilities is taken very seriously.
All levels of staff and operatives are trained to
high standards in respect of protection and
environmental control of both operatives and the
General Public.
All technical staff and operatives have been
trained in Health & Safety and carry CSCS cards.
Competence of all employees and engaged labour
is checked prior to commencement and records of
achievement held at Head Office.
Prior to the commencement on site a ‘Starter Pack’
of Health, Safety and Environmental Control is
produced which is specific to the site. Included in
the pack are Risk Assessments, Method Statements,
Risk Control, Specific Site Requirements and all
other relevant information.
The ‘Starter Pack’ is used by the site team as a
building block towards the job completion Health,
Safety and Environmental Control file.
It is our policy that all sites are checked at minimum
one month intervals by our Health, Safety &
Environmental Control NEBOSH Accredited Officer.
A report of each visit is also made available to the Main Contractor and site operatives.
Lincs Electrical have engaged the help of Human Focus to
carry out the duties of prequalification
of our supply chain sub-contractors.
Using the Competent Contractor Scheme can work
as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with other
pre-qualification schemes. A particular strength
of Competent Contractor is that it can provide
E-Learning training to improve knowledge and skills
of our own and sub-contractor staff.
